Not sure how many of you would be into this guy, but I figured I'd post it anyway. I really dig him, so...
Download his brand new album for free.

Not metal, not rock, kind of a folk/pop mix a la David Gray, I guess. I haven't bought this one yet, but will soon, so I can't say it's great or anything. Sounds it, though.
But again, far from metal or anything like that. But check out the album sampler. The guy is great!

Sabretooth - Sabretooth
I'm not quite sure how to classify this band. Metal Archives lists them as Melodic Metal, but going by the vocals I don't know if that's the best fit for them.

Something tells me they're not intentionally giving these MP3s away for free. I see no mention of it anywhere.
Either way, it's a brilliant album. One of the best prog albums of 2012.
There's an interview with the keyboard player in the latest issue of Prog Magazine in which he confirms that it's free, and there are a number of reviews from recognised prog sites that also say that. So while it's not explicitly stated on the band's website itself, it looks as though it is a legitimate free download.

Guess so, then. =)

If you can go to the band's official site, right click the MP3 link, then save the file as an MP3, then the band is giving it away.

I bought the CD a few months ago when Alex posted some videos. It's fantastic!
Man - this has been on my list since it came out. Now, I just got it for free! The anal collector in me still wants hardcopy, but...it's cool. Thanks S!!

For those that don't have it yet, its free... you can pay if you'd like but not mandatory!

Kekal has had three of their albums for free download on their website for some time, including my two personal favorites "One Thousand Thought of Violence" and "Acidity" http://www.kekal.org/freedownloads.php
The folks over at Scion A/V have a new ep by The Gates Of Slumber available today. If I'm not mistaken they are going to release an ep by Meshuggah next week.

Correct.
I thought I posted it here last night, but apparently I posted it in the Upcoming Releases thread after someone posted about the Meshuggah EP. I assumed it was this thread. Whoops.
Anyway...
New Gates of Slumber EP is now available for free, too.
