That...looks...awesome !!! Just the sight of Han and Chewie together put a huge smile on my face. One of my most anticipated films of the year.

Nothing compares to the original movies from '77 and the early 80s. But this actually looks better than I thought. I couldn't stand those last three movies Lucas made. He definitely lost his touch... The last Indiana Jones was a big disappointment as well.

The best thing that ever happened to the franchise was yanking it away from George "I write dialogue like a 10 year old" Lucas.

The new R2 unit is real and not a CG effect..

The new droid looks like it slipping on oil.
Crazy but interesting.

I am really looking forward to this. It looks great - although Han Solo looks really old.

It's a smart time to release another trailer, especially with all the excitement over the next installment of the Avengers. Even if it was for only a couple of seconds, it was cool to see Han and Chewie side by side. One of the cool visuals for me has been the shot of X-Wing fighters/Tie Fighters/Millennium Falcon battling out on a planet that might be Tattooine... Those battles have always taken place in outer space or Hoth (The Empire Strikes Back), which had very dark/muted backgrounds. Those shots within the first two trailers really got me excited!

No lie: I have ZERO compulsion to see the Star Trek movies Abrams did, but I am cautiously optimistic that these new Star Wars movies will be awesome.
Honestly, I'd be happy if they were just better than the "prequels." That was some shoddy damn writing...

I've never really cared for any of the Star Trek T.V shows or the movies that had the original cast or Star Trek: The Next Adventure cast, but those J.J Abrams Star Trek's were really good. I think you should check them out.

Alec Guinness was only 63 when he played "that weird, old hermit" in the original. Kinda puts things in perspective, don't it?

Same here. I was never a Star Trek fan and never watched the tv shows or movies, but found the JJ Abrams re-boot to be very enjoyable. Except for all the goddamned lens flares!!

Goose bumps!
Love the Star Trek films (I am a Trek geek) and I'm excited that Abrams is involved. These look "old and gritty" like the first three, not like the shiny, messy kids shows the last three were.

I am a Trek fan but haven't seen any of the Trek reboots. I would like to sooner or later. I'm sure they'll stand up well to the other films.

So the final trailer dropped tonight. And good god.
I gotta admit, I haven't had such a strong sense of anticipation and anxiety over an upcoming film from watching a trailer like this since I was a kid. This really brought me back to those days. I can truly say I'm excited for this to happen.

Saw that during halftime of the Monday football game. There have been a lot of movies I've been excited about that are coming out this year, but this is the tops amongst them.
