Spindrift - Ballads From A Bygone Era I saw these guys at SXSW a few years ago and they were great! They project silent films onto a screen at the back of the stage during their performance, fits the mood perfectly. Sasha Vallely-Certik (vocals/keyboards/flute) is very easy on the eyes as well. |

Metalwargod My all-time favorite band. I was a little worried when they regrouped with a new lead singer being the guy from Screaming Jets (who I also like BTW), but the new guy seems to fit the band like a glove. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Agreed. He is a great player and Badlands was such a good band. I saw them on both tours, got a chance to hang out with them backstage on the first tour. The albums didn't come close to capturing the power of their live sound, I really wish they had recorded a live album. |

I would have loved to see them live. I wonder if there are any live recordings floating around out there? I have seen some youtube vids but that's about it.

From gohastings
Token Entry - From Beneath THe Streets Scream - Live At The Black Cat Graig Wedren - Lapland Metallica - Master Of Puppets (upgrading my scratched/trashed copy and the risk paid off since the one I got is perfect) Record City and Zia Records. I hit up a Goodwill and Salvation Army, too. But I also scored a couple in San Diego. Record City was great, though. Zia Records was okay, but pricey. I mean, they had a 10 for 10 and 20 for 10 bin, so we pilfered a bunch of things from it. Then we got up to the counter and it's like $50 when they ring it all up! You had to buy 10 or 20 to get the deals. Laaaaaame!
