| I like all their CDs. The "Feel the Rage" EP rules! Love the KISS cover on that one.
On "The Horse That Bud Bought", the song Evil Twin is easily one of the coolest songs they wrote. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I'm just getting into them. They're an insta-discography from lala.com. I got them all in about 2 weeks through lala. The Horse That Bud Bought hasn't arrived yet, though. Either way, I really dig them. I had no idea what they sounded like before adding them to my wants recently, I've only heard that they were a great band. Closest musical comparison would have to be King's X (who I'm a big fan of), though that's not completely accurate, I think they're heavier. The melodies are dead on, though. I'm impressed. |

1. You don't like Doug Pinnicks voice? 2. You like their heavier more metal sound?

Same here. I tried listening to King's X, but it just never clicked with me. And a buddy gave me cdr's of Ty Tabor's solo stuff which I enjoy very much. Explain that! But enough about them. Galatic Cowboys. I only recently discovered them, and WOW!! What a band. Love them. I picked up all of their albums (except Space In Your Face) really cheap on ebay. I think all told, I got their entire discography, except SIYF, for about $12 bucks total. A couple of 'em I got for a penny, just paid for shipping. Since they're all new to me, it's hard to pick a favorite just yet, but after listening to The Horse That Bud Bought one time, I had the song "Evil Twin" stuck in my head for the rest of the day.

| Have everything they did. The first album is still my favorite. We used to cover "If I Were A Killer" back in the day, it gave me a chance to fire up the old 12 string bass, even though Monty did'nt use it on that song. | |

I am the exact opposite! I do like The Awful Truth (pre-GC), though.

Gospel Cola is on its way to me. Just confirmed within the last 30 minutes. So we'll see... No two Atomic Opera albums are exactly alike. Should have mentioned that their lyrics, not unlike some King's X and GC, are based on Biblical ideas. ult

ult so, is Kings X "safe" as far as, not shock/satanic lyrics?

| T-Roy, give "Faith Hope & Love" a chance. I think you'll love it both for the lyrics and the music. Also I'd recommend, "Gretchen Goes to Nebraska" and "Out of the Silent Planet" for those who prefer Christian lyrics. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!
