I had some on cassette that I waited too long to
get on cd and then they were rare. That Trouble is one. As much as that
goes for i'm surprised it doesn't get rereleased.

Oh, man! I'm just now wrapping up the after-effects of my LOOONG and foolish allegiance to cassettes. I came to CDs WAY late and it cost me - both in re-sale value of ones I didn't want and of course purchase price of ones I wanted to upgrade.

Getting rid of my secular collection when I became a Christian. At that point I had every album from Testament and Iced Earth. Many albums from King Diamond (Abigail-The Graveyard), Overkill (I Hear Black-Coverkill), and many, many more.

don't have much time to regret. only once some years ago when i got the a. of mercy lp from the band, free of course. i still think it's a crap. but i need it. i'm feeling that i don't have anything without it. i sold it to a german "collector" for lots of $$$. and now these dark ages of A.E.(after ebay) there's no chance to get it free or for peanuts. it was the first time that i felt more like a merchant than a metalhead. i tried to rip him off but another "friend" of mine told him about this when he met me in the first KIT and i had to give it to him. but i learned my lesson well. now i'm only trading stuff that i have many copies of it.

I don't have "CD Regret" nearly as bad as I have "Penis Envy". It's scary to think that Freud has now gone digital.

There was a record store in 2001 at the corner of my apt, and they sold cds for a buck or two, many of them were hair metal or metal. I wasn't a specialist collector of this music at that time. I bought a couple of cds and I returner back just to recover a couple of bucks.
It was hard times, and every buck counted, but some of those cds worth much more now than just a buck.
One of them, is not hard to find, but it was just a $1 is the first one of D'Molls. It is the one a remeber, but there was more.
I never gave away anithing that I really wanted; maybe just for one good reason.
I gave to my brother a rare copy of a single of Thunder, I got it for me, but when I saw his face, I gave him away. What the hell!!!
No regrets, luckyly.

I saw many of you telling that you gave away cds or LPs when you became christian.
Why there is a regret? I mean, I am not a religious person, I respect the religion of the others, and I think you should never sold your albums just because you became christian.
It wont make you a better person don't listen to King Diamond anymore! Even if you already knew their music.
Actually knowledge is good for the soul, besides the religion you belong.
I don't wanna start a polemic, but I think is different if you never heard black metal and you don't buy a cd of them.
Anyway, sorry for your lost.
