| How many times have you traded/sold off a cd for whatever reason, only to want it back again years later? Or even worse, getting rid of a cd and then finding it impossible to replace. I find myself doing that all the time and I feel so stupid. | |

| Man, if I could go back to 1990, I would have a list of several thousand records that I sold/traded that I wish I had not. Most regret selling my autographed copy of Heathens Rage EP. Not just because it's so rare, but because it was a part of my youth. I even had an autographed 8x10 that I included in the album when I sold it to that record store.
Another is KISS - Face Lift. A 3 record box set, red vinyl, complete show from the Lick It Up Tour with Vinnie. I paid $35 for it. I sold it for $50 to a record store. They resold it within a couple weeks for $200. OUCH!
Had several great vinyl bootlegs of Kiss, Metallica, Aerosmith, Judas Priest, etc. that I would also love to have back. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I was going through a very bad period financially several years ago (in college), so I sold off a LOT of my old Christian metal CD's. I have them all back, but MAN...I had to pay through the nose to get some of them back. Arttie | |

| No regrets about trades really (except the one I made with Jorge!!!)
I WISH I would have bought CDs when they first came out instead of cassettes for so long. Some of the Christian metal cassettes I've had and sold/traded would have been worth SO much money had they been CD (as everyone here is well aware, I'm sure) | |

| There are only a few CDs I regret letting go. The most notable I can think of off the top of my head is Brutality - Screams Of Anguish. | |

| I've gotten back most of them, but some I had to pay dearly for. Like the ultra rare Norwegian band, Seventh Seal. _________________ | |

| Blind Illusion - The sane Asylum was my only real regret on CD. I did let the Original Overkill (Metalstorm) Ep Vinyl off a few years ago and only recently picked it up again. |

| I sold a ton of stuff when I first joined the Air Force. Those dorm rooms were TINY! Haha. I have re-bought so much, though. I definitely regret it. |

| Without a doubt. From my death metal only years to Christian music years, I have been through thousands of cds. I probably will never ever be able to get back
I "obtained" all the demos to my all time favorite record, Appetite For Destruction. Had acoustic versions of almost the entire record, and a version of Welcome to the Jungle with piano. I would have no idea where to get that one again.
I had an LP of Motley Crues first concert ever. There are so many tapes, records, and cds that I traded, destroyed or sold for peanuts. When I sold all of my death metal, which was around 2 or 300 cds, I got 25 cents a piece for them. There was an obvious death metal dude in the store. He must have went nuts. I sold stuff, nobody has, because I got it directly from the bands |

| I've sold a lot of rare thrash over the years, during the time I was more into death and black metal. Probably the worst was:
Nuclear Assault - Survive Atrophy - Socialized Hate
I have sold and rebought plenty of other stuff, especially regarding my thrash awakening of a year or two ago.

| Nothing completely rare to note, but a few years ago, I started getting into rap (for whatever reason, although some of the older stuff I can still pop in the tray every once in a while). When I did, I sold off a bunch of CDs I had collected including Metallica, Pantera, Led Zeppelin, The Who, etc. Now I've re-built my collection and even added onto it. I've even gotten rid of some rap that I really did like back in the day, and wish I hadn't. Since then, I haven't, nor will I sell anything out of my collection. You never know when the urge will strike you to hear it again. |

| I can dig the rap feeling a little. The only rap I can say I still like to this day is Eric B and Rakim from back in the 80's early 90's. I had a bunch of PID when I was into Christian Rap but traded them away...not really a regret, but I'd like to pop 'em in every once in a blue moon for nostalgia sake....no longer care for rap...it was a youthful thing....but memories of Eric B and Rakim and PID can still make me smile... | |
