| What are some bands/artists that you regret never seeing, are no longer around, or are still gigging but are on your bucket list?
Had tix to see Eddy Grant a few years ago. PSYCHED beyond belief!!! He cancelled the tour due to lack of ticket sales. A punch to the face for me.
Never saw Midnight Oil when I had the chance. Liked them when I did, but got heavy into them later. Well, good luck getting an American reunion tour outta Peter Garrett and friends.
Obviously, Bob died in '81. That would be my ultimate show. My regret? I was 12 when he died and had no idea who he was at the time.
Bucket List - Alexander O'Neal. He still gigs in the Twin Towns from time to time. But it is at hoity toity jazz clubs and charges 50 bucks for me to put on a suit and tie. I'll get over myself one day and suck it up.
Wish I could have seen the Clash, or, at least, Big Audio Dynamite.
Another regret - The Ramones played Lollapalooza one year that I was there. Was messing with a female in the parking lot and could hear them, wishing the whole time that I was inside the grounds. Did get to see RATM though.
Few other non-metal bands I never seen for various reasons: Urban Guerillas, The Doors, Madonna, Traci Lords....and on and on and on.

| Oh this is easy for me. The Ramones. I had 3 different opportunities to see them (had tickets twice) and something always came up (twice was my girlfriend and the second time led to us breaking up - good riddance). And now it's way past too late. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Tons of them, but my biggest regret is not seeing Pink Floyd. Had two chances to see them on their last tour, but the timing was for shit and I didn't go. If I had known that was their last tour I would have gone. I was living in Seattle at the time getting ready to move to Phoenix. They were in Phoenix about a week before I moved and my dad had an extra ticket, but I was stuck in Seattle still so I couldn't go. Then a friend of mine also had tickets to the Seattle show, but they weren't coming until about a week after I was planning on moving. If I had only known, I would have flown down to Phoenix for the first show, then delayed my move for the second. Figured I would just catch them on the next tour... I have seen Roger Waters twice since then, but would have much rather seen Pink Floyd on that last tour. | |

And now it's way past too late. Yea, me too. I could have went to see them for free, opening for Rob Zombie and for reasons that elude me now, I didn't go. As for a "current" band, I'd like to see the Reverend Horton Heat some day before he packs it in. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| Neil Young. I'm an idiot for never catching him when he came through town.
Pink Floyd for sure, as I've always devoured the live material like Pulse and watch the different DVDs (including Waters or Gilmour) constantly. Could never shell out the dough.

Seeing that for the first time as a kid was nothing short of a natural high. Wow. haha, I felt the same way when I watched The Wall for the first time. I bought some beer and was planning on getting drunk as hell while watching it. Managed about a half of a beer and was just mesmerized during the whole movie, forgetting all about the beer.

| The Cranberries I had actually bought tickets to see them, and then i had emergency gallbladder surgery a few months later and i wasnt strong enough at the time of the show to go. It took me a few months to recover because it was not the micro incision but one long cut got a long scar from it. Stone Temple Pilots (W/Weiland) - Couldnt go cuz I had to go to my sister in law's wedding wife was like you can see them next time. Only the next time they came to the area Weiland was no longer in the band. Guns N Roses/Metallica/Faith No More - Friend had a spare ticket, couldnt get out of work Guns N Roses (2000s) - had paid for a ticket but couldnt get coverage for work. Course theyre touring I think with Slash and Duff but still..... Pink Floyd- Would have loved to see them live David Bowie - Had 2 chances in late 90s/2000 to see him but didnt jump on it. Now i wish I had. | |

The Doors - I have had a fascination with Jim Morrison for as long as I can remember, would have loved to see them live.

| I have been lucky seen just about every band I wanted to see but I missed a lot of shows, and will get the ones out of the way I could not see because I was too young:
The Doors- My favorite band of all time, when they did that tour with Ian Astbury, I should have gone but could not bring myself to go
Jimi Hendrix
Janis Joplin and AC/DC with Bon Scott.
I never got a chance to see Queen, that is my biggest regret. I don't remember ever making it this way during the 80's, thou I do not believe they played in the States during their final tour in 1986.
Nirvana- I could have seen them for free thanks to this girl who had an extra ticket, but by then I was so sick of them thanks to MTV, radio, magazines etc, I was a major fanboy but I had reached the burn out point.
Prince- Never got a chance to see him, he announced a show at the last minute during the early 2000's and the show sold out before I had a chance to get to the box office.
Black Flag- They played somewhere in Tampa back in the early 80's but this one of the few times my parents put their foot down and said no way in hell I was going to see that band.
The Clash- They opened for the Who's final tour, and my brother did not want to take his annoying little brother, I still have not forgiven him

| Frank Sinatra. He played a fair show here in the Pacific NW a LOOOOOONG time ago, like 1994 (ish) and the tickets then were not too painfully expensive if I recall like $35 or something like that. My good pal was beside himself with glee and went, I was like whatever (at the time of course).
In hindsight to pay $30 or $40 bucks to see the Chairman of the Board is something I regret regularly.
I had tickets to various shows in the 80's and failed to get rides, Iron Maiden Piece of Mind tour (sold my ticket at high school for the face value of $10), AC/DC For Those About To Rock (couldn't get a ride, but saw them on the Flick of the Switch tour), Scorpions Blackout (again saw them a hundred times later Love @ First Sting, World Wide Live but man the Blackout tour would have been neato).
I remember my best man at my first wedding was playing a show that very night, his band at the time The Lemons was opening for the Romantics in Seattle and I had to turn down his offer to tag along, for obvious reasons but now looking back the wrong reasons/choice was made...
Oh and one final one a completely unknown band at the time was playing a show at a small club in Seattle, the band later became Pearl Jam but at that time they were called Mookie Blaylock. My 3 roomies at the time all trecked into town for an unforgettable show, but me I was like naw I'm good, got some beers and a gal here I don't need no stinking Mookie Blaylock... sigh...
A few bands II would LOOVE to see were Warrior Soul, Spread Eagle, KIX, Junkyard, The Dwarves (even though they are "local" and have played around and with my mates I never have seen them).

| Probably Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson. Paul was a road trip, I didn't feel like going on a long haul. Michael's tickets were $30 and I thought that was too high for 1980-whatever year it was. Also, The Scorpions and Rush. | |

| Oh yeah, The Police. They did a reunion tour a few years ago and I asked my wife if she wanted to make a road trip to Tampa and see them. Great! She wanted to go and I went online to purchase tickets. They were sold out. Not just that show, but the entire tour sold out in the first few days so I missed out on The Police. Would also love to see The Cars. They toured a few years ago as well but didn't come anywhere close enough to me. | |

| The Police would be at the top for me. I just have to settle for listening to the "Live!" album.
Queen would be another one. I always knew that Freddie was a fantastic front man, but watching the Queen Rock Montreal DVD from 1981 cemented that notion. I wasn't actually old enough (nor would my parents have allowed me to go) when they were in their prime (late 70s), but what a show!

| Without a doubt, "The Outfield". John Spinks (guitarist and writer) has been dead since 2014, so unfortunately that opportunity has long passed. I would have loved to seen Bryan Adams around 1985, though the opportunity would still be there to see him. I think Queen and Zeppelin would have been something special to see in the 70's. I would have loved to have seen Prince during the Purple Rain tour. There are a bunch of others as well... | |

Agreed, they were my favorite band from 85-88 or so but they never came to my town. They started touring again in the late 90's and played a club in St. Louis while I lived in Missouri but I couldn't go. Tony Lewis, I believe, is on tour now in the US (or he was in the spring) so that's the closest anyone will get to seeing them live.
