Come on dude we know for example that Juan Crouchier of Dokken fame is a great bass,.... wait a minute maybe he meant Jeff Pilson. Thank goodness Dangerous Toys and Bang Tango have had only three different bassist, making it easy to identity which one is the best bassist in glam metal

Glam metal doesn't exist. Every rock band from the late 80's was like Poison and Winger.

My understanding is that they used session players...Tim is not even on all of 'ATL'...Randy Jackson plays on "Shining Star"...

I've been ignoring this thread because as bassman can attest, who pays attention to bass players in the first place? Now that I see it's degenerated into genre-wars, I will continue to ignore it. Except to say: A) Glam metal DOES exist (Hardcore Superstar, Gemini Five, Babylon Bombs) and B) Not all late 80s bands sound like Poison or Winger (the ignorance in that statement is astounding). Back to ignore mode... _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
