Def give the album a listen, it's heavy, groovy, jazzy, proggy, catchy, psychodelic, and just badass...

It sounds modern, I think that turns a lot of people away from it. I think their sound is pretty unique and that album is def a keeper on my playlist..
If Mike Patton did this, people would call it genius.

Im hearing a lot of ppl bring up Mr. Patton when talking about this band, and I totally agree with you...
Anyone remember Jester's March? I used to have their Beyond album back in the day, but it disappeared at some point. In my hunt to reacquire it recently, I found that they formed another band after Jester's March's demise called House Of Spirits.
I downloaded all the albums, but I was able to find Jester's March's second album, Acts, on Amazon for cheap. That's on its way now. Same with House Of Spirits, I scored their Psychosphere album. They're all quite good, so I figured I'd share some vids.
Jester's March has more thrash influence, while House Of Spirits has more 80s rock.
Wow. Jester's March may be in my top 50. That's some intense prog.
Just like that, top 50?
Just like that. Boom.
Say, you found this for cheap on Amazon? I would say good timing. 18 bucks and they're out of stock now. Some used for 20. Lucky dog.

With shipping, the total was $10.71.

I bought a bunch of Progrock Records albums from Lasercd.com last week. All were $3 a pop, so a few were blind buys. Another Great Day On Earth, by This Memory Garden, was one of them. Of all those I bought, this is one of my favs. Great album!
Check them out:

Just discovered some Sandstone, this would pique the interest of Threshold fans and others (the first song is more proggy, the second one is the 'single'):

Single is sick, "Red Mist" on the other hand falls flat
This little EP took a place in my top 4 list at number 5 after 30 seconds of music. Ultra melodic, ethereal effort.

A New Breed Of Rebellion (2004) was on Metal Ages Records.

Sounds right. I think I listened to them on Lance's website a couple times but never pulled the trigger.

Katagory V is okay. I have a few of their albums. If I recall correctly, the production is pretty weak, which severely limited my enjoyment.
