Wow, I haven't even heard of 80% of the bands listed so far in this thread! I will definitely check them out. This era/genre isn't necessarily my favorite but there is no denying that it bred some great musicians and songwriters!

I've gotten into Threshold lately.
Though I've kind of stopped listening to prog metal the last 10-15 years or so.

Thanks to NLTM I got into Kamelot. I especially prefer the Khan led albums vs. the newer ones, but it's all pretty darn good stuff. TBH, most of the other bands in the thread I am not familiar with but will check out. Thanks.
