Forgot yesterday:
Act Of Valor: Good action flick. Yes, they were not real actors but real actors couldn't handle the physicality (sic) of the roles (and would probably piss their pants doing what those blokes do for a living). Besides, since when has good acting been a requirement for action movies.

The Dark Knight Rises.
A fittingly epic conclusion to the current movie series. Thank you Christopher Nolan!

Just started watching season 4 of "Damages".
John Goodman makes a perfect villain for this season.

Saw it myself and couldn't agree more. One of the few movies I've been to that's gotten applause. Though at one point the movie went silent and you could hear someone snoring real loud enticing laughter from everyone.

All the talk about the new "Dark Knight" prompted me to pull my DVD of the previous film off the shelf today.
Still a great flick. Anytime I can sit through a two hour and forty minute movie and not be bored, they're doin' something right.
Heath Ledger's Joker still gives me chills.

Mick Foley and Raven vs Terry Funk and Tommy Dreamer from ECW. What a crazy, bloodbath this match was. Objects involved: shovels, road signs, a cheese grater, a VCR, a golf club, a toilet seat (!), and on and on.

The Fog (remake) - I lost count of all the continuity errors in this film; a 70s car with an airbag?...the coroner zips up two dead bodies in bags and loads them in the van but in the very next shot the bodies are back on the ground with a tarp being placed over them...the truck wrecks and Maggie is shown in the vehicle but in the next shot she's 15 feet away laying in the road? Please. Maggie Grace was at least lovely to look at.
Wicker Park - Nicely done remake of a french romance/thriller.
Wanderlust - Very thin comedy partially saved by a good cast.
WWE Monday Night Raw 1000th episode. Good to see the entire DX group, minus Chyna, together (vs. just Shawn & HHH). The only one that looks worse for wear is X-Pac, but years of substance abuse will do that to ya.
I also had the unfortunate displeasure of seeing "LOCKOUT" the other day and boy was that just plain awful, laughably inept filmmaking. They tried to make an 80s style dumb-as-dirt action flick but couldn't even make it interesting. It bombed and rightfully so.
