Some cool FX but really a totally unnecessary "prequel". Some nice touches to link it to Carpenter's version though. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Gonna watch this tonight. A coworker recommended it to me her via her husband. She's from Bosnia and told me she had witnessed to many things to have to see it in a movie, so she can't bring herself to watch it. She's a really nice gal. One of the few people I actually have respect for at work. | |

| Classic Albums - Who's Next - fascinating to see the analog synth Townsend used on Baba O'Riley and Won't Get Fooled Again. one of the best entries of the series.

| The Longest Yard (the Adam Sandler version)
After the Cardinal game ended I was looking for another game to watch. TBS has baseball every Sunday afternoon so I flipped over there hoping to catch a game. Too late; instead I saw this. And you know what, I finally saw a film with Adam Sandler that I liked.
Of course it helped that this thing has A TON of wrestler cameos in it by the likes of Bill Goldberg, Great Khali, Steve Austin, Kevin Nash and also includes Michael Irvin, Nelly, Bob Sapp and Bill Romanowski. Plus appearances by well-known sportscasters like Chris Berman, Peter King, Jim Rhome, etc.
A pretty enjoyable flick thanks to all the in-jokes. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Hard to believe it's the first time I ever saw that movie. Don't know how I missed it all these years but better late than never | |

Hilarious. Like Spinal Tap but with dog owners. Features lots of the same people as Tap too. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Johnny English There are several Carol Burnett show collections on DVD DB but they're really pricey. Check Amazon. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
