For a brief period in the 80's, those guys were unstoppable. They were all over the radio and MTV back in the day. I guarantee most of you would recognize 95% of that Essentials album. And Oates need to grow back that awesome 'stache.

I've found the cancelation comes about a week after the order is placed. Only one time have I ever gotten a shipping notice after that week. Unfortunately if you haven't heard from them after a couple of days it's probably going to end up canceled. Hope I'm wrong though.

Funny thing was I had it on my wish list for so long and never pulled the trigger during any of the sales. Then one day it shot up to forty bucks and I was kicking myself since I loved the samples. So fate shined on me saturday when I found it in store for three bucks out the door. Just need to find the time to give it a listen.

Yeah, that's been my experience with them as well, but lo and behold, I checked my e-mail this morning and there's finally a message from Hastings telling me that Legacy of Brutality has been shipped. Neat-O. I was expecting it to be a cancellation notice since it's been almost a week since I first placed the order. Not sure why it took so long but at least I know it's on its way.

And yeah, I have Para Siempre, Gypsy Pisterolas, and really dig it. The new one is at Newbury Comics but I've been passing it up each time because it's a bit pricey for the amount of songs on it, you know. I'll get it someday.

Nitrogods I read about in Classic Rock magazine. Checked them out & liked what I heard. But I'm a huge Motorhead fan.

Doh! Well, I have stuff by both bands. Haha. Not sure why I read it wrong, though. I wonder if they have that album around here, though. I'm going today, so I'll check. I like the self-titled Gentlemans Pistol more than Gypsy Pisterolas anyway. =)
