| After the first half of shaking off the rust from six days off, OKC steamrolls in the second half. Hoping they can keep it up. | |

| Tough game. Was that a foul on Durant at the end? | |

| Hell yea that was a foul at the end. In fact, the officiating the whole game was awful.
That and combined with OKC probably playing their worst game: they still had a chance to tie it at the end.

| OKC might want to consider not getting so far behind in the first half. | |

| Yes, I think they would want to reconsider that too. They must get off to a better start. Also, Russel Westbrook has go to attack the rim. No one can guard him. And if I'm Durant and I see Battier on me...I take him to the hole.

| Well, I'm just about ready to puke after the Heat close this out Thursday. The officiating is horrible too. I'm now convinced it's fixed. | |

| I'm at the point where I just want Lebron to get his stupid ring so we can be done with it and move on. The comparisons to Jordan are absolutely stupid. I can't for the life of me get all the ESPN and endless sports analysts that continue to embarrass themselves over Lebron. It's a joke. He'll never be half the player and leader that Jordan was. The whole damn league and current skill level is a joke.
I ate, drank and crapped basketball from middle school to my 20's. I played in high school, I loved the game passionately. But watching this current generation is loathsome.

| In some ways i'm with you T-roy but team slike the Spurs and OKC give me hope. Unfortunately it's as much about money as anything and Lebron has been made the face of the NBA and they are desparate to get him a ring. | |

Tim Duncan is still such a class act and all around great ball player. I'll be bummed when he's gone. I will say, I've watched a couple OKC games in the playoffs, including game 1 of the finals, and Durant and the whole team DID impress me. Last year I watched the finals for the first time in a decade. I was mortified at both teams. This is THE BEST in the NBA? Sad. I'm excited for the Pacers. They seam to have a good, young team, with some shooters on it.

| Yep, Bird has really cleaned them up. One thing i'd love to see that I think would help is to raise the hoop height. Everyone wants to dunk and focuses on that. A higher rim would give the game back to the shooters and you'd have to have talent. | |

| I agree with both you dudes. Miami has such a crap team besides 'Bron, Wade, and Bosh and they are going to win it all. The funny thing is they are going to do it in a shortened season...so I will still give them crap for that. haha
Quite frankly though, the quality of basketball has gone down dramatically as well as the amount of great players. In the 80s and 90s, most of the teams had at least one all-star caliber player and there were a lot of teams to contend with. It is not like it is now, where the league and some teams are watered down. Like in the East for instance, where below .500 teams are making the playoffs. It's a joke.

You know, I've always been against raising the hoop, but having watched a little ball the last couple years, It might be the only way. The only reason I wouldn't want to see that is it would change the whole sport. Basketball is one of the few sports where the field of play and court are the same from peewees all the way to pros. Hockey being another one. And I don't know what that would do? I've coached 4th, 5th and 6th graders. There's alot of those kids who can't get the ball to a 10' rim. So you'd have to adopt different heights for diff age groups. Much like soccer. Their are three different goal sizes up to highschool.

All you OKC, fans, what a humble, classy, talented group of young players you have. Lots to look forward to.

| I understand about the hoop height but I think something has to be done and raising the hoop would be easy. But what do I know, the thug league is rolling in dough. | |
