I'm not a fan of Dave's solo albums, I owned the EP and Eat 'Em And Smile back in the 80s, but I've never felt the desire to revisit them.

I liked the song "Damn Good", that's the only tune from Skyscraper I remember.

I'm not "anti-AOR", I just don't enjoy 95% of it.

Ok. Like said, Im pretty sure VH would still had taken the AOR/Pop route with Dave in the band anyways, considering their respective output during those years. And yes, "Damn Good" is just that. I quite liked his solo stuff.

I already stated I don't care for Roth's solo work, I JUST like him in Van Halen...and I ONLY like Van Halen when he's in the band. Without each other, they don't work, that's my view, has been since the 80s and I'm NOT f*cking changing my mind.

The new Van Halen Kicks Ass!
I do like Hagars 70s solo albums and 5150 is is an awesome Van Halen AlBum. The Van Halen Albums with Dave are the best though!

I have "Dreams" where Sammy Hagar doesn't suck, but then I hear "Summer Nights" on my radio and unfortunately there is a "Loss Of Control" and I realize people who prefer Van Hagar are "Fools".
