That is my opinion I think this is an ignorant list in "A magazine for idiots written by idiots and read by idiots." It could be defined as ignorant in that the authors are completely unaware of far worse album covers out there. Like Metal Tit. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

It is a bad cover. The artist who created it hates it. He was working with Ozzy and Sabbath at the same time, so to avoid the conflict of interest he thought that he would make a cover that was so bad that Sabbath would surely reject it. Iommi thought it was controversial and would sell albums. Ian Gillan, who didn't see the cover until it was released, was embarrassed by it and thinks it is one of the worst album covers ever. The cover is not "bad" as in poorly done. It might be in poor taste but it's well executed and by now is a classic in the genre. When people say an album cover is "bad," I think that they mean poorly done or amateurish. Now, we can argue that the artist that did the cover was lazy because all he did was take a picture of a baby and paint it red with devil horns, but that's a different criticism. I agree with Witchfinder. It's poor taste, but done well.

| Meh, I've seen (and owned) worse. Pretty lame, Kerrang, pretty lame. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| The Kerrang list is lame (as I would expect from the source).
I like the cover for Born Again, it offends basically everyone...so I salute it!

| Nothing on that list that I'd say I liked, but nothing I would personally vote for as the worst.
One that has always, and will always bother me is Acid Reign's Obnoxious. Such a great album to have that horrible cover.
My Dwarves albums go on a top shelf with the covers inverted as an extra precaution.

| Pretty lame list, but I'd expect nothing less considering the source. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

I have no idea but with titles like Burning Nipples and G Spot Love Tornado, I think we're all probably better off not knowing. Also, one of the members of this "band" goes by the name of "Anus Oatmeal". Yeah, we're better off not knowing...

Mr. Seagal can literally chop your emotions off by just by looking at him
I remember years ago, when I was in college, I was talking with a friend of mine and his friend. His friend brings up that Steven Seagal was releasing music and has an album out. My friend was shocked to find out what form of music he was doing, thinking he'd put out a brutal thrash metal album. I know what he means. I'd say the characters Seagal plays in his movies are fans of extreme, brutal thrash metal.

Yeah, we're better off not knowing... ...which kinda makes me wonder if "Metal Tit," for all of its wonders, really exists or if it's just an elaborate gag. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| How about "worst albums with the best cover art"?. I know Dio's Lock up the Wolves would be at the top of my list. | |

Come on, it's not a bad album. Not Dio's best, but far from worst even in his catalogue.

| I've read polls where it's been voted his worst album. I personally don't care for any of his material after Dream Evil, but I do think that's his coolest album cover. | |

I meant to say this last night! That whole Tracy G period in the band I just couldn't get into. For me "Angry Machines" and "Strange Highways" are the two worst in the band's history. I think Lock Up the Wolves is underrated.

Even some of the band members. I'm in the middle of reading Iommi's autobiography. He basically "blames" the cover on Don Arden, the band's manager at the time. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!
