Grammy OUTRAGE!

Nominees:
The nominees in the "Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance" category are as follows:

* DREAM THEATER - "On The Backs Of Angels"
* FOO FIGHTERS - White Limo"
* MASTODON - "Curl Of The Burl"
* MEGADETH - "Public Enemy No. 1"
* SUM 41 - "Blood In My Eyes"

THERE IS NO METALLICA IN THIS LIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111

What happened to the good ole days when bands could get nominated based on name brand alone?

Surely Lulu is as brilliant as the Queen cover song they recorded and won a Grammy for in the 90s that probably took a grand total from idea to mastering of about 45 minutes?

I think it is great that METALLICA's cover of that song wins a Grammy, but not the original song. Oh no. METALLICA's contribution to the development of that song is greater than Queen's.

I'm sure that either the Foo Fighters or Sum 41 will be the winners. I'll be shocked if any of the less "mainstream" performers would win.

Doesn't this category get tossed on the non-broadcast "no one gives a crap" portion of the event nowadays?

My Grammy doesn't like any of those bands.

Maybe they mixed up Megadeth and Metallica.

i think it'd be funny if Dream Theater got it, so Mike Portnoy will be crying his eyes out.
