..sort of. BMG will re-release a select number of their catalogue.
Great news for people looking for Running Wild discs, for instance.
That's great news! Expect more of this in the future as the only way labels can be assured of some sales is by leveraging their back catalog.
I am also hoping that BMG's acquisition of the Sanctuary Records catalog also includes the massive NWOBHM library that Sanctuary had amassed.

Cannot care less for the "2CD Best-off's" but a Running Wild full catalog re-release would be awesome!~

I'm sure I have (or had) some Noise records in my collection over the years. If there is cool stuff being re-released, I'm down with that.

I have all the old CF stuff on vinyl up to "Wine In My Hand" EP.
Been wanting the "Vanity/Nemesis" version with the Bowie cover.
Maybe even the "Prototype" & "Nemesis of Power" demos.

If they did something similar to Roadrunner's "Two From the Vault" series from the early '00s (2 albums packaged together in 2CD sets with some random bonus tracks added to each disc) I'd be fine with that. I filled in a few holes in my King Diamond and Annihilator collections with those.

Digital catalog
Looks like the first batch in May is Best Ofs only (see Page 5). But then on the next page it says to expect over 30 expanded reissue albums later on in 2016. Including Grave Digger, Skyclad, Running Wild etc.

I see that Warrant will be part of this. Hooray! I need to get Enforcer and First Strike.
In case you guys missed it from Lari's post, here's the link to the 2 CD reissues and all the artists that will be reissued as part of this:
Apparently, the new Kreator compilation Love Us Or Hate Us: Very Best of the Noise Years has the label listed as "Sanctuary" : http://www.roooar.com/music_uk/news-releases-kreator-love-us-or-hate-us---the-very-best-of-the-noise-years-cd-in-may-4277.html
Just looking at the Helloween one and the tracklist sucks!!
No How Many Tears no Twilight of the Gods no A Tale that Wasn't Right.......

There's been no news about any individual albums being released.
Maybe it's too soon after the Best Of's, but I really hope they are going to release most of the Noise OOP classics.

And they are!
I wasn't all that interested as I'm a fanboy of that label and have all of the essentials from the bands I care about but it turns out they are choc full of cool stuff. I've already ordered Morbid Tales & To Mega Therion (Celtic Frost) but the one that has really caught my eye is Extreme Aggression (Kreator) as it includes the legendary East Berlin 1990 live set. The extras on these are definitely cool and for anyone who has not heard that gig.
It's a band at the very height of their powers and I'd have bought this on vinyl on it's own!
