New BLACK N BLUE album soon...

I swear, it seems like this album had been in the works almost as long as "Chinese Democracy" was...but it's finally done and will be released on Frontiers Records in May.

Frontiers Records has announced the release of the new album from Portland-based rockers BLACK 'N BLUE, on May 13th in Europe and May 17th in North America.

Hell Yeah! is a proud comeback statement for a band that wrote the pages of hard rock history in the 80s. Black 'N Blue released four successful and critically-acclaimed albums through Geffen Records: their self-titled debut (1984), Without Love (1985), Nasty Nasty (1986), and In Heat (1987), with the latter two albums produced by the legendary GENE SIMMONS of KISS. Catalogue sales in the US were in excess of one million units and the band's original guitar player Tommy Thayer went on to replace ACE FREHLEY in the current KISS lineup.

Black 'N Blue reunited for the first time in 2003 under the initiative of singer Jaime St. James, when he began writing tracks for a new album along with original member, Jef "Woop" Warner. The process came to a halt when St. James joined WARRANT as their new lead vocalist in February of 2004. In recent years, Jaime has been releasing records and touring the world with Warrant.

Great samplers, i am going to buy this album for shore. Love it!!!!!!!!!!! Its so great to see all those glory 80s bands releasing cool albums today. RATT made a great album last year, STRYPER a great coversong album, KING KOBRA will release a new album this year too, CHINA just released a cool album, STAMPEDE from UK is going to release soon a cool album after their 1983 debut lp. TOKYO BLADE just released THOUSAND MEN STRONG, a killer album, CLOVEN HOOF are back in action too etc....etc....2011 is just great. We can have fun with all those 80s albums but also with cool new releases.

Only thing I remember from Black N Blue was something like "Hold On To 18"
or something like that, with an age in it. I really liked Jaime St James in Warrant, so I will check these guys out. I have been in a "Faster Pu$$ycat" mode of late, but when I get that out of my system, I will put them next in line and check them out.

I saw Warrant on that tour, and Jaime did an awesome job! I have always like B&B, and will surely get this!

That is indeed the title, and it's off their self titled debut album, which happens to be my fave B-N-B. I like all their stuff to some extent though.

Man...that song reminds me of everything I love about the 80's big rock sound. The drum and guitar tones were so awesome.

Jaime reminds me a bit of Dee Snider in that video.
