Not really music but I was watching Friday The 13th VII:The New Blood over the weekend and the photo that Van Halen used for the cover of A Different Kind Of Truth was hanging on the wall in one of the rooms of the house.

Watching 'Bull Durham' last night, I forgot the various metal/rock shirts Nuke LaLooshe wears throughout the movie. Iron Maiden, Motley Crue and Fishbone.

Here's a weird one for ya- in the end credits of the Rutger Hauer film "Hobo With a Shotgun", the music featured is the theme song from the 1980s Canadian cartoon series "The Raccoons"

I saw something similar in Sleepaway Camp 2: Teenage Wasteland, there was a record of Flotsam and Jetsam: No Place for Disgrace in the background in one scene.

I was watching Family Guy's "The Road To The Multiverse" episode and in the alternate reality where Meg is hot, she comes strutting down the street to Van Halen's "Drop Dead Legs"

So I'm in that in-between period between the end of NCAA basketball (or at least the "Madness" version of it) and the start of the Cardinals baseball season (starts Sunday night in Chicago)
So to kill time between the end of our local news and the start of "New Girl" on Fox, I'm watching O'Reilly. And what to my wondering eyes appears? Fox Business News correspondent Maria Bartiromo talking about this song which I even have on CD but didn't know existed.

I was watching a ultra low budget German slasher called Violent Shit and there is a scene where Wasp's "The Torture Never Stops" is played in the back ground.

I remember that scene. Stewie said, "And you know what's amazing? In this universe, she's STILL one of the ugly ones!"
LOL! Poor Meg.

This was probably mentioned some 19 pages back or so, but I'm not searching. While watching 'Pee Wee's Big Adventure' with the kids over the weekend, I forgot about Twisted Sister's cameo...
Nice choice of 'Burn In Hell' for a kid's movie.

Ah yeah I remember that film, good stuff. There was another obscure slasher film called Chameleon Killer which featured a number of well-known metal bands like Sepultura.
I was also surprised to hear Iron Maiden's "Flash of the Blade" in Dario Argento's Phenomena.

I'd say that there's a 99.9% chance it's just a coincidence, but the movie Unfriended has a character named Adam Sewell, which is the exact same name of the lead singer from the 1990s band Monster Voodoo Machine.
Like I said, I highly doubt it was intentional, but the band was the first thing that came to mind for sure.

Watching an old episode of Seinfeld over the weekend, when George & his girlfriend are playing Trivial Pursuit with the Bubble Boy ("Moors! Moops!!") I spotted both a House of Lords poster and an Ugly Kid Joe poster on the wall.
Also, in a quick scene in 1986's 'The Fly', Jeff Goldblum is walking down the street and 2 dudes walk by him, one sporting a Motorhead back patch on his denim.

On the Family Guy episode that aired the other night, Ratt's Round And Round played over a montage of Peter learning to high dive.
