LOVE the Wall!

I had listened to the album for years before I finally saw the movie.
Very good visuals, and I liked the musical changes as well. Some songs
don't come off so well, Like Bring The Boys Back Home, but overall, it
is masterful.

Few bands could achieve such a full, rich sound with such sparse
arrangements. I was watching Roger Waters: In the Flesh the other night
and I had my son listen to the guitar solo in Dogs as an example of how
much could be done with only a few notes. Perfect!

Has anyone heard "Back Against the Wall"? It's a tribute album, which is the entire Wall album, sound effects and all. It was produced by Billy Sherwood and features tons of prog rock "superstars", like Rick Wakeman, Keith Emerson, Tony Levin, and Ian Anderson to name just a few. It also features Glenn Hughes, Tommy Shaw, Robby Krieger, and Dweezil Zappa among others. It's a pretty awesome tribute disc, I suggest checking it out if you are a fan of Pink Floyd or The Wall.

Terrible music. I could never get into it.

Glad to know I'm not alone.....

However, I'm glad the others can enjoy it so much. Just not my "bag"....
