Anyone into Pink Floyd?

Fav is Dark Side of the Moon

Love Pink Floyd. Some of their albums are "mood" music for me. While I love some of that early, trippy, experimental stuff, I have to be in the mood for it. However, albums like Animals, Wish You Were Here, The Wall, Division Bell, etc. are anytime listens. I'd say that "Animals" is my favorite.

I also like some of the solo material from Roger Waters, David Gilmore and Syd Barrett.

Dark Side of the Moon for me is an anytime listen, then "Wish You Were Here" and "The Wall" I have to be in the mood for it I do have Division Bell but im ashamed to say I have not listened to it yet I know shame on me hehehe

Ive heard bits of Piper at the Gates of Dawn and really dug what i heard

Pink Floyd is great. Love The Wall, Division Bell, Learning to Fly, Animals, and most of the solo stuff from Waters and Gilmore. Early Floyd is good, but almost a different band so there is a disconnect for me.

Pink Floyd's an incredible band. The best of all the prog rock bands in my opinion.

My favorites by them are the "Big Four": Dark Side Of The Moon, WIsh You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall. I also like Piper AT The Gates Of Dawn and some of the post-Waters songs. Haven't really gotten into the records post-Barrett to pre-DSOTM yet, except for a couple of songs of of Meddle.

i must admit my interest has dwindled in floyd ever since i got the wall years ago cos it is just two weird and creepy. i found it hard to believe wall and dark side were by the same band
