Good headphones?

I need better headphones. Any recommendations?

Monster Cable makes a model called the Turbine which sounds very much like you are standing in front of a good PA system at a concert. It is the most realistic, natural sound I have ever gotten from a headphone. Costs about 100 bucks.

These sound as good as any studio monitors I have used while recording...IMO, there's no need to spend crazy amounts of money on headphones.

Are they durable? Because the past 4 pairs I've had have had a problem with the connector going bad >.<

My wife has had a pair for 5 years now and uses them regularly...I've had mine for 2 and I use them for everything from the iPod to using them as studio monitors on my Boss digital 8-track...both pair sound great.

Good thread. I've been looking for a good set of headphones myself.

Mine arrived today. They sound really good. I can hear the bass from my ipod now!

I recently got some very good Koss headphones and they cost me less than $20. No way I would spend $100+ on headphones. It's as ridiculous spending that much on sunglasses.

Are Bose headphones any good?

I use two soup cans and heavy gage electric wire> Works great!

Personally I am not a Bose fan (sounds too processed to me!) I prefer Klipsch - music sounds more natural. But a lot of people like Bose
