Headphones

I am looking for a new set of headphones. I have Bose-In-Ear phones and I like them a lot. I think that they might be giving me some ear problems. But I would like something to over my ear. I have owned Bose Tri-ports in the past but they broke. I am not against replacing them as they sounded pretty darn good and worth the money that I paid for them. The question I have, is are there any better headphones out there than the Bose Tri-ports for the same money? (I think they cost around $139.00 now) The noise cancelling over the ear Bose headphones are $299.00. I'm not sure that the noise cancelling will give me that much better sound. Anybody out there have any suggestions?

check out sonys headphones I've been using them for years and there great I'm not sure if they have noise canceling ones avalible that aren't too expensive but there defnetly good headphones

Sony's don't cut it for me. They sound pretty good alright, but they don't hold even a candle to the Bose Tri-ports. Expensive, but definitely worth it. I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with both the Bose Tri-ports and anything else. The Tri-ports have actually been top of the line for me, but I was still wondering if anything is comparable or better for around the same amount of money or slightly less.
