I just got this killer pair of Sennheisers in the mail today that I bought last week off ebay. They are amazing in whichever way possible, it's like having the band right in my ear canals but that is what you get with a price tag of $200 (ah the joys of not having a family to feed and mortgage to pay... yet anyway).
But as amazing as this pair of headphones is I couldn't help but think of ways that Sennheiser could improve the experience... use God Helmet technology in the next generation headphones!
If you don't know what the God Helmet is, well it's supposed to give you the experience of meeting the Man himself. It stimulates a part of the brain that gives you a full outer body experience, making you feel as though you're levitating and having altogether divine intervention type experience - you can supposedly see / talk to / hear etc other 'divine' beings around you and so on. There's a whole video about it on youtube.
However, all technical details aside, can you imagine how cool it would be to actual experience the music you're listening to. I can already hear some of you say but wait I don't want to be butchered by a zombie while listening to Cannibal Corpse and i couldn't agree more! However what I mean is imagine listening to Therion and being transported into the ancient egypt, having like a whole tour of the pyramids in your mind.
It would be something!
