| PoM by a long shot. One of Iron Maiden's classics in their best era. | |

| Stained Class. Not entirely sure why I picked that one though. Could've just as easily clicked on Piece of Mind. Both great albums. Probably owned the Priest album longer. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| While it's a pretty tough choice for most here, it's quite simple for me: Stained Class.
Don't get me wrong, I love Maiden, and Piece is in a four-way tie for my favorite album of theirs ( the first two and Somewhere in Time being the others), but there's some serious filler on there (i.e. "Sun and Steel" and "Quest for Fire," even though I'm probably the only person in this world that actually likes those two songs). Add to that the fact that Bruce's voice gets a bit grating to me after a certain point these days.
I prefer Priest anyway, and when I first heard Stained Class, it floored me. I couldn't take it out of my CD player for like three years straight; it was the first one I ever bought, and it enticed me to go out and buy many of their other albums.
It is very consistent, and the instrumentation and vocals are crisp and very well thought out, while the lyrics are very intelligent.
It is a masterpiece in every sense of the word.

| I love Piece Of Mind but Stained Class is my fave Priest album and very few albums from that era can only dream of coming close to it. | |

| Since I'm not a big Maiden fan, this was easy. Stained Class. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| I really like both albums, but I have to go with the Priest on this one. Favorite tunes are "White Heat, Red Hot", "Stained Class", "Beyond the Realms of Death", "Saints in Hell", "Heroes End"... | |

Those songs are also favorites of mine (not so much Heros End) and then there's my favorite Priest song, Exciter. Then there's also Invaders and Better By You, Better Than Me.
