- She's never been one of my favorites as far as hotness goes. What did you think of Savage Streets? Honestly, I really like '80s vigilante films but found that one to be rather under par. It had its moments, but it just didn't satisfy my appetite for violent carnage. I must admit that the principal was a trip, telling the bullies to "go f*** an iceberg" and "take your f****t a**es out of the school".
Linda was never high on my list either, but when I saw "Hell Night" I kept thinking to myself "Damn, she was pretty hot back then." Not sure if I've ever seen "Savage Streets"... I think I'd definitely remember someone being told to "go f*** an iceberg." _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Found this in the Shop-Rite bargain bin for five bucks on my way home tonite: I heard it was kinda lame but I figured what the hell, I was a long time Jason Junkie during my teen years thus my curiosity got the better of me. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Well, I finally got the nerve to do it.
Last night I bought "A Serbian Film". Somebody mentioned ths film on this board months ago and when I researched it I was like "No F'n way I'm ever watching that". But last night I rewatched the trailer on the interwebs and decided that even though a lot of the events depicted in the film are utterly vile, almost unanimously, critics say the film is very well made. And since I consider myself a fan of extreme cinema and everyone says this is a "must see", I decided to take the plunge.
Supposedly this makes Hostel or Saw look like a Care Bears movie and if you read the Wikipedia writeup, that's an understatement.

Over the past year or so I've read enough about that movie to determine that I don't even want to be in the same room with a copy of the DVD, much less watch it. I guess I'm just a wimp. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Movie stop was having their annual 50-75 % off sale on used movies, so I picked up:
Opera, Wet Hot American Summer and The Last Horror Movie
They had a bunch of Argento flicks but I only had 10 bucks to spare.

| September's already half over which means it's time for me to start combing the bargain DVD bins for my annual Halloween season "Schlock-Tober Craptacular" viewings!! Picked these up @ Shop-Rite today for $4.99 and $3.99, respectively: Looks like Miramax/Dimension Films has entered into a deal with the budget DVD label Echo Bridge to distribute their back catalog. The "From Dusk Til Dawn" DVD I picked up a few months ago was also on this label. When I picked this up today I noticed they also had a couple of the "Prophecy" flicks, "Hellraiser III," and a few others I may go back for at a later date. This is actually my second copy of "Man-Thing." I bought a previously viewed rental copy a couple of years ago when Shop-Rite was closing down their video rental dept. Unfortunately when I got it home, the damn thing skipped like a mothertrucker so I had to toss it. What little I saw of the film looked pretty cool though. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

I need to buy all the seasons soon too. I think I've seen all the episodes, but they've they'ven been aired here has been so inconsistent, I'm not entirely sure. _________________

| I've been making quite a few additions to my VHS collection lately. Here's all of the video tapes I've bought since the beginning of the month:
American Ninja (found it at a Goodwill near my house yesterday for a dollar) The Expert The Perfect Weapon Self-Defense (aka Siege) Snake Eater Snake Eater II: The Drug Buster Street Hunter 3-Way Thrash featuring D.A.M., Candlemass, and Dark Angel (A friend traded it to me)

Hellraiser 3 was the last decent Hellraiser IMO. And it's still pretty marginal. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Picked this up thanks to Shiney. It's the most recent movie by Frank (Basket Case) Henenlotter. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
