| Found a new spot in LA called FreakBeat Records. Had been meaning to check them out for awhile and glad I finally did. Probably the best .99 bin I've ever seen in terms of popular releases. You could probably make some money just turning that stuff around on ebay. I'm guessing this place is big with industry people.
Y&T - Ten (promo with a cool lenticular logo cover) Saga - Heads Or Tails Germs - Anthology Progress Of Decadence - Overdose Atom Seed - Get In Line (Japanese version) Sir Lord Baltimore - kingdom Come/Sir Lord Baltimore China White - Danger Zone with FlyBoys - S/T two on one Star Star - Love Drag Years Hard-Ons - Very Exciting! Sloppy Seconds - First Seven Inches/Lonely Christmas Led Zeppelin - Song Remains The Same 2disc
Also got the book I Hate New Music- The Classic Rock Manifesto by Dave Thompson

I am usually against re-buying any CD's I own but I might make an exception in this case, in your opinion is it worth buying and does the Ray Gillen version sound any better then the bootleg version of the album with him on it?

| Manny,
Yes, it's definitely worth purchasing. Disc 1 has 2 bonus tracks not on the original album (an earlier version of Black Moon & Some Kind Of Woman). The Ray Gillen version sounds better here than on the bootleg version, the high end isn't as sizzly and it's got great heft behind the rhythm section. Both the vocals and Iommi's guitar jump out more on this version.
The Gillen version sounds "heavier" overall and has more attitude, it's closer to a Sabbath album (IMHO).

Cool thanks and I plan on grabbing the disc soon.

That's the best era of the band, should be lots of good tunes on that one. |

Yeah, I am digging it...I only knew 3 of the songs listed prior to listening (Radio Free Europe, The One I Love and It's The End Of The World As We Know It)...I'm only about half-way through it since its in my car. Picked it up @ Walmart for $7. _________________ FINAL SIGN

My favorite tracks from that collection: Talk About The Passion, Gardening At Night, So Central Rain. |

| I have all of REM's stuff and love 95% of it. The last couple of albums have been really BLAH. Those IRS albums are all great, IMO. |
