It was dumb as hell, but it made me laugh, for whatever that's worth. "Horny the Clown" is quite possibly the silliest looking horror movie killer I've ever seen.
I thought the stunt casting of Morgan Spurlock (the anti-fast food guy of "Super Size Me" fame) as the head of the "Hella Burger" chain was pretty inspired.
Have you seen the movie "Creep" that I posted here a couple of days ago? I think that one might be up your alley.

Dammit FF!
I knew I'd seen Drive Thru before and I wanted to watch it again after reading your review. Can't find it. So I thought maybe I rented it. I went to Amazon and, nope, I ordered it in April of 2009. Now I'm ransacking the house trying to figure out where I put it. Thanks.

Finished Ultraman Gaia: Battle In Hyperspace
Kinda disappointing. The kaiju designs were pretty cool but the plot was even more paper-thin than usual.

"Santa Claus Conquers the Martians"
This 1960s kitsch classic regularly turns up on "Worst Movie Ever" lists, and it's easy to see why. Even for a kids' movie, this is hellishly bad. The only person who seems to be having any fun is the guy who plays Santa. The story is awful, the sets are cardboard, the costumes are cheap, the acting is terrible. Put it all together and you've got a Perfect Storm of holiday craptacularity.
Every bad movie enthusiast needs to see this one at least once before they die. Now I can say I have.

When I bought the DVD I thought my kids might get a kick outta the movie... but after watching it last night I have decided not to subject them to it. I think it might be considered child abuse.

Just finished a cheesy Scy Fy movie, Arctic Predator. I turned the TV off before it was followed up by Ice Spiders.

"Batman Forever" (1995)
...Val Kilmer's lone turn as Batman is not the best of the series, but is still an entertaining entry.
By changing directors from Tim Burton to Joel Schumacher, the studio was clearly trying to turn the "Batman" series into something a little brighter and campier than the first two Goth-inspired flicks. "Forever" still maintains some of the look of Burton's entries but it balances out the darkness of Kilmer's troubled Batman/Bruce Wayne with over-the-top hammy performances by Tommy Lee Jones (Two-Face) and Jim Carrey (Riddler). However, the introduction of Robin (Chris O'Donnell) feels shoehorned in and was not really necessary in my book. (Side note: where have you seen Chris O'Donnell lately? For that matter, where have you seen Val Kilmer lately?)
Oh, and bonus points for the addition of Nicole Kidman, who was smokin' hot as the Batman-obsessed police psychologist, Dr. Chase Meridian.
Ooooh yeah. That's the kinda sugar Papa likes.
This would be the last decent Batman movie for quite some time, as the series completely jumped the shark two years later with George Clooney's "Batman & Robin."

I loved the first one so much and I really liked the second one enough that Batman Forever was just no good. It was too futuristic looking (I hated the way Gotham City looked like in that movie) and I missed the darkness. Val Kilmer was O.K. but I just really liked Keaton's version but either was better than Clooney (and not just because I don't like the guy-he really did suck). Also I've always disliked Robin and hated that he was put in there (and in the cartoon which was also so much better without him). Jim Carey and Tommy Lee Jones portrayals of their characters was the only thing that made the movie tolerable to me.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, "Forever" is not perfect by any means, but I still found it fun. Though that could probably also be due to the fact that up against "Batman & Robin," anything looks good. I also hadn't seen "Forever" in quite a long time (probably since its original theatrical run) so to me it was like watching a "new" movie.
Best thing about the movie (aside from Nicole Kidman)...Tommy Lee Jones chewing the scenery almost as badly as Jack Nicholson did as the Joker in the first flick... then again, he was competing against the always-manic Jim Carrey, so he had to keep his performance cranked into the red for the whole movie, otherwise he woudln't have even been noticed.
Worst thing about the movie... a close up of Batman's Kevlar-suited ass when he's putting on the Bat-Suit prior to the climactic battle.
The change from Keaton to Kilmer didn't bother me much. Keaton did an OK job in the first two films but I've never felt he was quite "right" for the role anyway. (Then again, I'm picky. To me the only "true" Batman on film, other than Christian Bale, has been Adam West. Haha.)
I thought Clooney had the potential to be a decent Batman but he simply had the unfortunate luck to sign on for the worst turd in the series. I haven't seen "Batman & Robin" in a couple of years (and honestly have no desire to ever see it again), but if memory serves his performance wasn't bad (though I seem to recall that he seemed more comfortable in his scenes as Bruce Wayne, than in the scenes as Batman). It was just that the film would've been an utter train wreck no matter who was in the Bat-suit.

For real? Haha. Well, that shows you how much TV I watch (or don't watch) nowadays. I had no idea. I thought he just kinda dropped off the face of the Earth.

The Chronicles Of Narnia: Voyage Of The Dawn Treader
The Narnia movies just get better with each one, now I just have to wait a couple of years to see how they do with the next one.
