Yea, well... (SIGH) since Cablevision and Fox are still having their prick waving contest, I probably won't be able to see the World Series anyway, so it's almost a good thing for me that the Yankees didn't make it in.
I also think it may be time for the Yankees to part ways with A-Rod.

I'm glad the Rangers won since they haven't been to a Series before.

Plus side: The Skankees lost.
Minus side: I'm really mostly indifferent about the remaining teams. In fact I probably will watch Mizzou vs OK tonight instead of the Giants/Phils games because the football game means more to me at this point.

I still hate the Giants from the Jeffrey Leonard "one flap down" series against the Cardinals. Add in the Bonds era and it's easy for me to root for the Rangers.

awww, c'mon. They did win that "one flap down" series, though. I can understand the Bonds era but, how can you hate these guys? This is a true definition of a team. At the same time, the Rangers are not a team to dislike either. Don't be so bitter in your old age!

We Cardinal fans have looooong memories. I'll hate the Reds for many years to come because of that brawl this year and Johnny "The Girl" Cueto kicking Jason LaRue with his spikes giving him a concussion and forcing him to retire.

haha, I completely understand. We had this conversation before, as I don't particularly care for the Cardinals either. And, I don't blame you for hating the Reds. Cueto might as well have hit LaRue with his purse. A pure beotch move.

Yep, the Reds are definitely on My List.
I do find my hatred for the Giants fading a little bit though. In fact, if not for the Bonds era, it might be completely gone by now. Still, I have to root for the Rangers in the WS. How can you not like a team who, knowing one of their star players is a recovering alcoholic, celebrates their victories with ginger ale instead of champaigne?

Yeah, I agree. Not only that, they also took out the Yankees. Thats reason enough to root for them. If they were playing any other team I would be rooting for them, too.

I don't believe it! Giants are in the driver's seat. 2 more wins baby. It's going to be tough in Arlington, but the wheels look like they are about to come off the Rangers.

What happened to their hitting? Hamilton, Young and Guerrero definitely went cold. Congrats to the Giants!
