Are any of you Guys in a Metal Band . . .

I used to play guitar in a "hardcore" band in 1993-1994 named primedia cellout.
and
Then I played guitar for a goth band named Autumn Mourning.

Needless to say I play nothing now, except in my spare bedroom.

Unfortunatly I am not. However, once I get myself out of debt and get my self financialy situated, I am going to take some voice lessons to fine tune my singing and seek out musicians to start a power/thrash/death/progressive/black/gothic/doom hybrid band (something I've planned for the past four years). I already got my death and thrash vocals down, but my clean singing needs a boost, hence the voice lessons. Will I be sucessful in my indevors, I pray every day that I will. However, as of right now it's just a pipe dream (until then I continue to think up ways to incorporate all those genres into one). If not, then I will just look for a band who is seeking out a vocalist in those genres (except black, I don't screech too well).

I want a band! But I don't have any band! Nobody's dong music in my little city! My friend and his bro have a band but they only need a bassist and a drummer (I wouldn't say yes if they were searching for a guitarist 'cuz I hate the singer voice) .

I'm in a metal band, we've done some random jamming, and had some fun with a cover or two (megadeth songs are just so much FUN) and we're working on recording some stuff, but for now, I'll have to wait. (It's kinda power thrash, and some other gere's thrown in).

I really need a band. I've written several really killer songs that are just begging to be played ;P

All we need is a singer.......

We have some good material written, including lyrics, but the right vocalist would make it all come together. There are several good singers around here, but we are looking for the right person.

I can do rock vocal (more modern, though, like Layne Staley), or soft, somber vocals (like Matt Barlow on "I Died For You"), or some death metal/melodeath vocals.

hows does that work. i am working on my guitar all the time and while i ahev had no lessons i can play any tune that is chord based (almost seeing as i know no chords at all)

yeah, i'm in a band, a studio band for that matter, we rarely play shows since we don't have a vocalist. We have lyrics and over 12 full-length songs. My drummer got his bed room soundproofed and we installed some recording equipment (spent all of our paychecks on the stuff too).

I play bass guitar, piano and synthesizers, and the guitarist and I do some acoustical guitar jams.

We haven't figured out a band name yet, and well if there's a singer out there, hit me up. (For both the name and/or singer)

What does it mean?

i was trying to type the wprd caravan into a forum post once but i mispelt it and the word craven was born. i thought it a coll name for a band at the time!

Craven means cowardly. Not sure if that's a good band name. Haha.
