| I just thought up the idea of how fun it would be to discuss an actor/actress career and their best movies. The idea is based around naming an actor (preferably one with a good variety of movies) and discussing what you would think is their greatest movies and worst movies.
I will start it and feel free to discuss.

| Haven't seen many of his movies. The Departed is an awesome film though. | |

| I would consider The Shining as Jack's masterpiece and he was also wonderful in The Departed. He was great as the Joker in Batman and he was phenomenal in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. A Few Good Men was also a pretty decent movie..
I have also seen Jack take part in some very odd movies aka Mars Attacks and Wolf..
All in all Jack is one heck of an actor with a stunning career...

| I like Jack and I think he's best playing a bad guy or a psycho. He got that type of role down right out of the gate by playing a guy who loves pain in "Little Shop Of Horrors". _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| I like Jack as The joker in batman.
One of my favorite actors is Cary Grant. North by Northwest is fantastic. _________________

| Jack freakin' rules!!!!! From the early days in Chinatown, which is an AWESOME movie BTW. If you haven;t seen it, rent it.
Jack turns in an amazing, creepy, scary performance in The Shining.
He rocked in Batman!!!!!!!!!!
He showed his comic side in Anger Management.
Even in his senior years, he is still kicking a$$ in The Departed

| Great actor, with MANY movies I enjoy. I'd say The Shining was one of his best. One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest was also very good. A Few Good Men was excellent as well. I also REALLY enjoyed his part in As Good As It Gets. His Joker in Batman was really good (though I think Ledger did it even better...). I think Mars Attacks was something of a low point (though his part wasn't bad, per se....the movie as a whole just didn't work well). _________________ You're cancer, you can't be the answer, you're killing me

| I think I'm the only person in the world that finds Nicholson annoying. Can't stomach the guy. The only thing I really liked him in was The Shining. As for another actor, how about the great Gene Hackman ? I think everything he's done has been superb. 2 standouts though are Hoosiers and Uncommon Valor. | |

| I always think of Hackman as "Lex Luthor, greatest criminal mind of our time!" in the Superman flicks... _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| He was great as Royal Tenebaum. - Quote :
- He's finishing his senior thesis. Pigman is trying to prove the Caine-Hackman theory. No matter what time it is, 24 hours a day, you can find a Michael Caine or Gene Hackman movie playing on TV.
According to IMDB, he hasn't done anything since 2004 ( Welcome to Mooseport, blech!) Can this be right? 6 years without a Hackman feature? _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. I loved Miss Tesmacher as a youngin' before I even knew why. I recently caught a little of Lenny, the Lenny Bruce story on cable featuring a young Valerie Perrine as Lenny's hot stripper wife, Honey Bruce in all her boob-tastic, free swinging glory. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. I firmly believe that one of the main failings of "Superman IV: The Quest For Peace" was the absence of Miss Tesmacher. Instead, they gave us Jon Cryer as Lex's annoying nephew. Duh!!!! ...mind you, an appearance by Miss T. probably wouldn't have done a damn thing to make "Quest For Peace" a better movie, but at least it would've given us some eye candy. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"
