Just saw this on our local news:

"Spinal Tap" actor hit by car in NYC 7990_artist

Michael McKean, the actor best known to metalheads as David St. Hubbins of "Spinal Tap" fame, was seriously injured when he was hit by a car while crossing a Manhattan street today. He's got a broken leg and was in critical condition for a while, though he's now been upgraded to stable condition.
