Awwww man, that sucks. I haven't been into much of Type O's later music but I freakin' loved Carnivore (especially the RETALIATION album) back in the 80s, and the first couple of Type O Negative discs too. I saw a bunch of Type O shows in New York and New Jersey in the early 90s when the band was just getting off the ground.

Carnivore were such offensive fun and still appeal to the teenager in me. I thought the last Type O Negative album was really good.

Can't say I was much of a fan, but 48 is too young to check out. It wouldn't surprise me if it were drug releated though.

I recall reading an interview with him where he discussed his cocaine use. Heart failure and cocaine use go hand-in hand.

That sucks I am not huge fan of Type of Negative but I did enjoy their music from time to time and they where great live.

I mean no disrespect, but honestly, I think many people didn't think he would live too long, me included. I mean, look at the guy, he looks like he's on drugs constantly, he looked ill all the time. And he was always depressed.

Unfortunately true Zeta. Sad news for a young guy.
