I thought of my favourite albums of each decade, and searched for a topic, and there was one! So I will just post my favourites here. Feel free to update your lists from 2009.

60's
Led Zeppelin II
There weren't too many great heavy metal options here (that I ever listened to). So this was quite easy.

70's
Rainbow - Long Live Rock'n'Roll
Very hard! I love 70's metal, and Van Halen and Stained Class and others made this a super tough choice.

80's
Black Sabbath - Heaven and Hell
Amazing decade for heavy metal, but sort of easy for me because I already know my favourites so well here.

90's
Blind Guardian - Imaginations from the Other Side
Another obvious personal favourite of mine. Amazing album, enough said.

00's
Angel Dust - Enlighten the Darkness
Quite tough, without an obvious #1 pick this decade. Nightwish's Once was a close second.

10's
Star One - Victims of the Modern Age
Actually quite easy. I love this one so much. What musical *perfection*

20's
Eternity's End - Embers of War
Now this is very soon, and we aren't even through 2022, and obviously I will change my pick many times, but so far nothing new has stood out quite like this one. Maybe some cool releases by old geezers, but right now I'll put Eternity's End as the front runners. We'll see how it turns out in another 8.25 years.
