Shortino has always been good, unique delivery and tone. Plus he can actually sing.

I was listening to Ready To Strike CD - over and over -
it's a great sundown in car October CD -I like all the songs -
it's a good mixture of various vocal harmonies - guitar work -
Ballads - power ballads - rockers - heavy hitters -
Nov 1985 release - sigh

That's a good 'un, but I like KK's version a bit more as I am just more used to hearing it.

Its a decent pop song, but i was expecting more of a rockier song myself.

Paul Sabu had a band...."Only Child". Great Cd, Whitesnake vibe.
They do the original " Scream Until You Like It " . WASP...changed it around...
I was listening to KK today.....on the highway....
.....it's a good cd....at medium volume...on a hot day...
One song sounded like a Malmsteen tune..."You make it Easy "
"We Got A Fever " is kinda cool and sexy...for metal heads to be married too.
" Top of the World " is a fun song...when something good goes your way !
I drank many a 40 oz King Kobra outside against a tree reading books..
I thought about Shortino in QR...in Spinal Tap movie..he got around...
Blue Murder...wasn't a good match for Carmen.

Nice breakdown, Glower. I like this album a lot and have revisited it many times over the years.

Listened to "Ready To Strike" - today -
It's such a classic mid 80's metal album - IMO -
The sound is unusual. The vocals / background vocals too.
39 minutes -10 songs.

HUNGER was written by Canada's Kick Axe. Didn't know that.
Spenser Proffer - producer - helped with almost all the song writing.
George Marino - did the mastering.
Johnny Rod - ( wild name to pick ) bass -

Check out their version on the original Transformers soundtrack. I think the went under the moniker Spectre General. Will see if I can dig that up.

I recently picked up Thrill of a Lifetime. Haven't had the chance to play it yet. Will do so tomorrow in the car. Not sure what to expect as this was a blind purchase.

Don't play it - Just run back to the store and get your money back!
