Yeah, "Void Terra Firma" is a fine thrash platter. Reminds me a bit of Testament, only different.

That was my impression on that album too. I really love the killer cover of Killers. I found the CD used and got it again but I can't find it now and I didn't put it in my computer. If I can get off my lazy ask and organize my crap I will probably find it (along with some other CDs).

Finally got my hands on this one. I'm surprised the thrash contigent on this board hasn't gone apecrap for this. Killer Bay area thrash! Not as good as the new Heathen, but it's still great.

My only complaint is that Steev Esquivel is straight up doing a Chuck Billy imitation. Smile

I've tried to get into their music in the past but i just see them as a generic 3rd wave thrash band. And Steev is a Chuck Billy ripoff... he even tried to look like him at one time.

Did anyone else ever get this album? I found it at FYE today and snatched it up. Pretty killer album, my only complaint being that yeah, the vocals sound too much like wannabe Chuck Billy.

It's not really a bad thing, just from what I've heard of the earlier albums the vocals were a little more unique sounding. But that was just a first impression, I need to listen to it some more

gave this album a fresh spin last night. Still sounds awesome. Is defiance still around? We definitely need a new release!
