I guess I'd count myself as a pretty big Rush fan but I can't see shelling out that kind of money for this. Still, you can't deny it'd be kinda cool to have this at home.

Thats really cool, but Id never pay that kind of money for it.

I saw this on the Counterparts Forum, which is full of Rush nerds. Even they wont pay that much for it.

HAHAHA! I guess thats cool for collectors or something but I dont think I'd really even bother with it. Its pretty old and the technology in drum making has improved so much since this set was made it probably sounds like crap. You'd have to be a really huge fan with a lot of money to bother buying it. I'd rather buy a brand new set and make it my own and for cheaper too. That price is crazy.

I was looking at the questions people were asking and some guy asked "Why did Neil choose copper concert toms to go with his Chrome drums?" HAHAHA! Like the seller really knows that answer. I just thought that was funny someone would ask.

sweet, but that's way too much for my blood.

For that amount, Neil Peart better throw in a lesson or two.

I wouldn't pay that much for a car (and I know how to drive) let alone a drum kit that I don't know how to play.

I'd probably break it the first time I try to play it anyway.

Eh, you know the old saying. One man's trash is another man's treasure. I'm no Rush fan, so if by some weird twist of fate I wound up with Neil's drumkit, I'd sell it in a heartbeat. I need cash more than a drumkit sitting in my living room. But yea, there's some things that I wouldn't sell, no matter how much was offered. Like my children. Go ahead, make me an offer. And I'll turn it down. Probably.
