| SAINT - Crime Scene Earth REISSUE!There will be a remixed, remastered version of Crime Scene Earth with Josh Kramer singing on every track. There will be new artwork by Rexorcist as well. The packaging will be a 4-panel digi pack, but will be high quality with the plastic tray. I'm excited about this release. I really liked Crime Scene Earth but felt the vocals held it back, and the mix was a little uneven. With these things fixed and some new killer artwork, this will be a reissue worth picking up! _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I wish it were done right the first time. I mean even the tracklisting was messed up on the original press.
I'm anxious to see Rex's ideas for the cover. 'Dat boy cun draw! |

I just finished mastering this...I'm not kidding, folks...this is honestly the best thing Saint's done since their Pure Metal days. It's late 70's Priest all the way on this one...freakin' great, great stuff. later...Cilffy _________________ http://www.steinhausmastering.com

| I'd like to hear this new version as well. The original release wasn't BAD but it didn't seem quite "all there" if that makes any sense. Like it had been thrown out there before it was truly "finished." I received a copy to review for Detritus 'zine and I didn't even realize that Josh Kramer wasn't singing on all the tracks until I read it here on this forum, because the press info that came with it was very skimpy. So when I reviewed it I think I made a comment about how "Josh's vocals haven't aged well," haha. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

later...Cilffy Music is great. Vocals are MUCH better IMO. Overall mix still seems a little out of balance to me. Every single hit on the cymbals is heard, but the guitars just don't grab you by the jugular. Mastering is good. It's certainly loud without distorting, but I wish those guitars were a little less boomy and a little more crunchy. Cliffy, I need to talk with you about something. I'll PM you my phone number. ult _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

I like it, man...although, I think the title in white is better than in yellow (left is blues and whites and right is yellows and oranges, which I thought looked really good artistically). It looks very old school through a subtle modern lens...very nice. _________________ http://www.steinhausmastering.com

Probably true. I popped that disc in shortly after hearing the new Mortification, and the difference in guitar tones is starkly different, so that may be the reason for my initial comments. I love Saint. Been a fan since the 80's. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

It looks very old school through a subtle modern lens...very nice. Admittedly I struggled with keeping the back white or yellow cuz I liked both. | |

| I know I'm in the minority, but I liked the original just fine. Rich's vocals are not near as soaring as Josh's, but they have a low end growling power that I dig. The new version of Terror In The Sky is better, but I still miss Rich's vocals on that first verse. Better than Josh's version, IMO. | |
