Band names that hurt the band's record sales?

AC made SOD sound like elite jazz musicians. Kids in high school probably just bought the albums for the name alone.

I guarantee if I was a kid when I heard of them, I'd have bought it just based on the name. Being an adult when I first heard of them, made me think how fking dumb that name sounds, and I wouldn't pay a dollar for every CD they'd put out.

Well the bands were hilarious. Were they good? Not really, but they were offensive. So I liked them for that reason. LOL
