Aaaannnddddd David Lee Roth is out again!

Just because VH has no immediate plans to do anything doesn't mean Roth is definitely out.

He may be the only option they have if/when they decide to do anything.

Does anyone want to go see them live with a new singer?

I bet a tour w/ Ed, Al, Mike, Sammy w/ Wolfie on keys would sell just fine.

Yeah. But why would Ed demote his own son? That's the biggest reason he reunited in the first place. He wanted his son to be part of the band and experience what he has in VH. And does Wolfie even play keys?

How is that demoting if he's on stage? Wolfie has tweeted a video of himself playing the piano intro to "Right Now" already.

Playing keys in VH vs bass? I'd say that's a demotion and I think EVH would see it the same way.

They've done tours where the keyboard was either pre-recorded or off-stage, but never done that with bass guitar.

I would not be surprised considering their history if DLR had once again departed from VH, but highly doubt its true. These men ( well except Wolfie) are all in their 60's and their career is naturally slowing down.

I do hope they record another album soon, but I would say prospects have that happening are thinner then DLR's hair, but I do not believe this line up has called it a day.

That's what I'm saying...they'd put him on stage. EVH used to play the keys on stage during the first tour with Sammy. They'd just put Wolfie on stage with keys. I don't see it as a big deal, really. The whole point is Ed only wants to play if his son comes along and plays too. They did 8 years of reunion touring with Roth...I can see them doing at least a run or two around the US w/ Sammy & Mike before hanging it up.
