David Lee Roth Has NO Hair

What's your take on his bald look ?

I figured he had been using that hair in a can stuff for years anyway. "The Babes Are Back!"

DLR is still cool, hair or no hair, and it looks better then when attempted to pretend he had hair in the early 2000's

Meh, happens to a lot of people. I think people look better when they go the natural look instead of trying to cover it up with toupees or whatever.

I've actually gone from hating DLR to really quite admiring him as a human being in recent years, I think that he has coped with popularity demise and not being a 25 year old rock star any more with a lot of style.

It's better than the whole world knowing that you wear a wig like some guys from his era.

Gee, I dunno. I thought his Crypt Keeper look from the late 90's was classic.



But if anyone really cares, Diamond Dave showed up the other night at the Foo Fighters concert in LA, sporting the Billy Corgan look...

I really liked his book ' Crazy From The Heat "
He looks good - still ! Must be all that Judo - etc -
I shaved my head once - my friend was shaving his kid's hair, for the summer -
and they cheered me on to do it - did - looked like a Auswitch thing -
There's a few guys who shaved - Wolf, From Accept comes to mind.

Yep, pretty much.

I probably shouldn't have been surprised, cuz just about every interview I've ever read with DLR went like this this: the interviewer would ask him something, and Dave would then go off on various random tangents for about fifteen or twenty paragraphs. If you were lucky, he might eventually come back around to answering the original question. If you multiply that by 200 some-odd pages, that was Crazy From The Heat in a nutshell.

I actually did read it, back in 1998 when it came out, and pretty much had the same reaction. Too much rambling on and boring stories about paddling a canoe down the Nile River or rock climbing with Tibetan Sherpas. It needed more "rock star" anecdotes, like 'The Dirt'.

my take is he is getting old like alot of us and alot of times old guys loose their hair..sucks, but it happens.. so alot of guys just shave it.. some wear wigs and some wear hats..

Now you know why brett Michaels always wears a hat and his bandanna is attached to a hair piece..


(I lost most of my hair on top but the sides and back are down to my waist..I just keep it in a pony tail and have a duck dynasty beard...I look like a crazy Klingon but me and my old lady like it    ...)

I think the best/worst of that is highlighted in the mid to late 80's era. How about that wig on Animalize? As far as DLR, it's odd seeing him sans hair. I'd rather see him like that than how he looked in the late 90's though.
