kreator: coma of souls

I revisited this album yesterday.

last time I had played it was years ago.

absolutely one of the best thrash albums ever. People of the lie is such an infectious song.

Do u agree with this one being the best kreator album ever? I do.

I love that album! It's been a while since I listened to it, though; I'll need to change that one of these days.

I love it as well. Kreator is easily my favorite thrash band. Their last few releases have been ridiculously strong.

Excellent album. One of my favorite songs is Material World Paranoia.

It's their best album, hands-down. The riffs are INSANE

Also an incredibly catchy piece of thrash, by German standards.

An amazing record all the way through. Doesn't get anywhere near the credit it deserves as a classic IMO. I remember at the time it came out a lot of my metal buddies were "over" the whole thrash movement - Coma Of Souls was a "the hell you are" throwdown for them.

The live versions of People Of The Lie cause me to purchase any live release Kreator puts out.

I know a lot of fans regard this as their best, album but Extreme Aggression gets a few more points in book. Still a phenomenal record.

I wouldn't really blame anyone for not liking Kreator's modern output (even that uptight asshole, Painkiller)

That melodic, Gothenburg-tinged thrash isn't for everyone. I enjoy it myself, but it took forever for albums like "Phantom Antichrist" to grow on me.

I still think Violent Revolution is a great album.

Great album, just slightly below Extreme Aggression in my book.

Haven't heard the album, but I LOVE the title track! I actually screamed along to it about a month ago. Tore the hell out of my throat. Mad props to Petrozza being able to vocalize like that for over 20 years and not destroy his vocals.

As for the album in question, it is one of my top 20 thrash albums.

Great album. My top two favorites from Kreator are Pleasure to Kill and the seemingly underrated Terrible Certainty.

One of my favorites from them. I might be tempted to say I like Extreme Aggression or maybe Terrible Certainty a bit more, though.

Hmmm, I may take this one to work with me tomorrow....
