1990 - THRASH METAL SUPREMACY

I forgot to mention that Artillery's By Inheritance is another one of my favorites from this year. Lots of catchy tunes on that album.

^^ Nice catch on that. It wouldn't have changed my vote, maybe my top 5 though. These polls will continue to leave bands off at this point. There's just so many.

As much as I love the platter of goodies that is the year 1990 and thrash, there is no denying the awesomeness which is "Rust in Peace". I won't say it's a landslide favorite for me among the other great selections, but this album was the one I listed to the most on a consistent basis.

4. Anthrax: Persistence of Time
5. Exodus: Impact is Imminent

I need to spin RiP again for the sake of this poll. I have tried countless times, but never could understand why it is so überfantastic everyone says it is. Sure it is great but not my favorite Megadisc

Went with Kreator, if i had a 2nd and 3rd I would have picked Megadeth and Slayer

Megadeth - Rust in Peace. One of my favorite albums of all-time!

With all I'm reading about them, I need to start getting some Forbidden. Sounds like this would be a good starting point.

Yep DB,Forbidden Evil and Twisted Into Form are thrash classics!

Had to go with Megadeth - Rust In Peace, but that was tough. So many good albums that year. For me the top five were a no-brainer.

Plenty of good stuff there, but it's definitely Rust by quite a wide gap for me. As far as I'm concerned, Megadeth made the greatest thrash album ever in that.
