1990 - THRASH METAL SUPREMACY

Some people over at the CMR are saying I left our Vengeance Rising - Once Dead, but I am pretty sure I picked up that disc '89. Some sources have it release on Dec. 19, 1989 while others have the release date at Jan. 1, 1990. Not sure what the real deal is, but I've always remembered it being 1989.

The actual release date is 1990 on Once Dead.Of course it could have been like Helstars King of Hell were it was released in Dec.

That's a tough one! I go with Megadeth, followed by Death Angel, Slayer and Kreator and a special mention for "Cracked Brain" - best Destruction in my book!

Believer for me, Sanity Obscure is my favorite Believer disc. Megadeth comes in a close second.

ARRRRGH these polls are killin' me!!

Almost pushed the button for RUST IN PEACE but truthfully I didn't really get into that album till it had been out for quite a few years. In 1990, Deliverance's WEAPONS blew me away and it still does.

I voted for Rust in Peace, one of my all time top five at least. However, there are other excellent albums on the list, such as Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss, Exhorder - Slaughter in the Vatican, Testament - Souls of Black, Anthrax - Persistence of Time, and Vio-lence - Oppressing the Masses, among others. Two thrash albums from 1990 I don't see listed are Overthrow - Within Suffering and Razor - Shotgun Justice.

Megadeth - Rust in Peace

This album is killer

I can't believe I forgot to mention Kreator - Coma of Souls on the above list. Especially considering Kreator are one of my top five favorite metal bands of all time.

Slayer.

Really hard choice.

Lots of legendary albums on this list.

I went for Rust, because i consider it as the best metal album of all time.

There are other favourites, such as never neverland and coma of souls.

IMO, both of these albums are much better then deliverance's weapons of our warfare.

Wow, yet another tough one!

Had to go with Twisted Into Form, that album is sublime.

But special mentions to Exodus, Destruction, Believer, Kreator, and Testament. All of those are favorites of mine as well.
