This is the problem I have with most of the Suicidal Tendencies I've heard. Bar occasional moments, Mike's vocals are just a bit weak. I like them but rarely does he have the same bark he has on songs like 'Bring Me Down'.

He likes to mix it up so to speak and not just shout like the first record.

Man, the music is really good, not too sure about the vocals, but I haven't been into Suicidal Tendencies for that long. I mean I've had the original s.t since 5th grade but I haven't heard anything else by them. I might pick it up, who knows? Fate is a strange thing.

all these complaints about Muir's vocals. maybe people would prefer ST with a new metalcore screamer?

not me. i like them just the way they are.

I'm with you mc, Muir's vocals are part of what makes ST cool.

Hey, don't get me wrong, he has a distinctive voice and is one of the defining aspects of ST. I just think he sounds better when he puts a bit more force in to it.

I don't have a big problem with his vocals. I'm just not used to his vocals. If I had been familiar with a lot more of their stuff, I probably would have said differently.

Not too surprising. One of them in that pic was already in ANTHRAX. Then right before they broke up they got the drummer from SUICIDAL TENDENCIES who later joined MEGADETH.
