Anyone else ready for the new Suicidal album, World Gone Mad, Friday? I've already got my cd pre-ordered through Amazon and bought the song Clap Like Ozzy off of iTunes.
I like Suicidal Tendencies but it has been years since I have picked up an album by them.

I found their last album 13 to be surprisingly good and look forward to the new one. It's not a "first day" purchase, but I'll pick it up sooner than later.

Yup, pre-ordered it weeks ago. I would have anyways, but Dave Lombardo is one of my favorites, and he seems to make bands better when he's behind the kit, so this one was a no brainer for me.

Definitely gonna get it. Especially with Lombardo on drums!

Yep... IMO, the one Testament album he was on is better than all the others. Can't say it was because of him, but I'm sure he didn't hurt it.

yup, I agree. That's my favorite Testament album also. And like you, not sure if Dave had that much of an impact or not, but I know I also love the Slayer albums better with him in the band over the Paul Bostaph stuff, so who knows.

Damn...in my opinion, the new ST album is not actually very good. Only one listen so far, so it could grow....but I was immediately hooked on 13 so. World Gone Mad starts out pretty good, but devolves pretty quick.

I like it a lot. I have only listened to it once so far, but thought it was much better than the last album. 13 bothered me a bit because he overused the whole psycho tgeme. Seemed like every other word was psycho. This one was scaled down to every fifth word or so lol love both albums, but the newest one is the better album IMO.

I haven't bought a Suicidal album since Controlled By Hatred... was released but with the addition of Lombardo, I am really curious to check this one out. The self-titled, Join The Army, and How Will I Laugh Tomorrow still get played all the time over here, some of my all-time favorite albums. Lombardo has been killing it lately, playing with the Misfits and now ST...he must be having the time of his life.

Sounds like Suicidal to my ears, the drumming makes a difference. (IMHDO)

Lol this is a bit off topic, but has anyone seen the cover of institutionalized done by Body Count? They changed the lyrics and mind of made it more modern, but pretty funny if you ask me.

Blabbermouth reported this morning that Bob Heathcote, who played bass on S.T.'s How Will I Laugh Tomorrow... album, passed away over the weekend from injuries he suffered in a motorcycle accident. He was 58. R.I.P. sir!
