I saw tens of Nazareth's albums sitting on a shelve at a nearby record store. I would like to discover more about these guys. Which would be the heaviest albums you'd eventually recommand?

Thanks

I would recommend, Hair of the Dog, Expect No Mercy, or No Mean City

I don't know which is Nazareth's heaviest album but I know the one you should begin with is 'Hair of the Dog'. It contains the bands two best known songs and has great deep cuts such as 'Begger's Day' 'Miss Misery' and a ballad that clocks at almost 9 minutes 'Please Don't Judas Me' . Great band with strong blues overtones on some tracks.

Actually start with Loud-n-Proud, Razamanaz, Expect No Mercy, although not their heaviest Close Enough For Rock & Roll and their newest is really good Newz.

I have all their albums.

I just bought that album yesterday. Those guys play some true heavy metal! The riffs are simply outstanding 🤘
