I received my guitar today, but It has some damage

Well I got my guitar today, and It smokes and everything. But the only issue is that It came damaged from the corners on the bottom of the guitar. It seems that they used some nail paint to covered it up, but it is very noticable. I don't know if to return the guitar or keep it. This is bugging me, becaused they didn't list that it had that.

What should I do?

Contact the seller and see how they react.

Just color over it with some sharpie.

It is just that I paid 800 bucks for it. It usually goes for 1250. But they didn't say it had the damage. This is one of the corners which got painted out, it is suposed to be black

hmmm... I dunno thats $800. If it bothers you that much I would contact them and see if they will refund you some money to get it fixed (which would probably cost an arm and a leg anyway) or tell them you'll send it back. Me personally if they didnt write that in their auction (im guessing you got it on ebay) then I would definetly send it back save up the $450 and go for a new one.

From that pic it looks like something that should have been mentioned up front. And spending 800 you should be completely happy with what you bought. If the seller is respectable they should give you some options to fix things up. I would definately contact them.

Def contact them. If you hear nothing from them sand that down a little and paint over it.

Listen to these guys contact that jerk who failed to list the guitar was damaged, I am sure if he is reputable he may refund some of your money back, if he is a complete tool he may claim that damage happened during shipping.

You got ripped off, nicks like that bring the value down a lot... Even if the guitar is supposed to be $1000+

I wouldn't want a guitar without blemishes.

If you really want it, get as many freebies as you can from them. They are supposed to list any blemish so to say they didn't notice it until packing is lame. And leave a ton of complaints and negative feedback.

IN all honesty take advantage of the situation if you decide to keep it. Tell them you want a digital tuner and sets of strings. Tell them you want a wah pedal and sets of strings.

If you like the guitar a lot sand it down and paint over it.

I love the guitar, but for the money paid, I could get an used guitar on EBAY made in USA with an schaller floyd rose, not an Chinese priginal floyd. If I return the guitar I would probably buy it new, or look for another guitar with the same specs. This is a big blemish that the guitar has and is not worth it. I could even get a CARVIN guitar for that money.

Return it dude! It's not worth the money paid and you can't live with the markings on it. Get a new Carvin.

I would never buy a guitar online, I'd have to see it up close and personal, play it, see if it likes me, find out if it's a kindred spirit...then check security to see if I can run out of the store with it.

"we would refund $50.00 and you keep the guitar. That is all we can do. Any painter could fix the minor damage for that amount. Let us know what you decide. Sorry about this. "

If this is the case, I could use to 50 bucks to repair the edges, that they It wont get worst on the future
