I love the music of this band but there's just too much growling for my tastes.

Don't know much about'em other than this one track, but I gotta give'em style points for hilariously covering the disco-era classic "Rasputin" by Boney M.

Turisas rules. I love all this folk metal stuff because its different! Its a cool idea to add the 2 as well. Its becoming the new trend as of late, but I still enjoy it.

This is a band I saw live, when I didn't know anything about them. I like this band because they don't use the black metal vocals

I saw this band with Dragonforce a while back, I had never heard of them before but their show was pretty cool and very entertaining to watch. I bought one of their CDs afterwards and have been playing it some. I would see them again.

Saw Turisas on PaganFest USA tour with Ensiferum. They were fantastic live, one of the best live shows I've ever seen.

I still think Varagian way is one of the best metal cds period. Battle Metal was ok but the VW is certified awesome! Ensiferum and Eluveitie are very very good too except I didnt care much for the last Eluveitie release. Spirit from Eluveitie was much better...

Turisas is one awesome live band. I own both their CDs, but for some reason they didn't really click with me. I'm thinking this kind of music doesn't really work in the studio.
